"My name is Brandon Baker, I am a Percussionist and this is my second year teaching in Manor ISD. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Music from Southwestern University in Georgetown, and I spent most of my musical career in and around the Austin area. I taught the battery and front ensemble sections at Salado HS and then taught private lessons for students at Hill Country MS the following school year. I had the good fortune to work with Middle School and High School band programs in Leander ISD last fall and I look forward to start working with the students at New Tech Middle School. In my free time, I'm a drummer, gamer, and mild sports enthusiast. I grew up and went to school in the Buda/Kyle area, just south of Austin, before moving to Georgetown 5 years ago to further pursue my musical and educational goals and I feel privileged to stay and teach in an area that I have spent my entire life."
