We are officially starting the first week of school-ish! During blocks students will receive breaks and time for snacks if needed. Lunch will NOT be provided, students are NOT allowed to leave campus. Students must bring their own lunch or parents may drop off their lunch. If students desire to have their lunch delivered then they must schedule it to arrive at 12:00 PM or they will not have time to eat lunch. ATTIRE: Until further notice Marching Band performance attire will be: - Black Athletic Shoes (or dinkles) - Black Adidas Track Pants - White Gladiator Shirt There will be an exception this Thursday. The track pants will be changed to khaki pants so that the students don't have to change into school clothes. GENERAL INFORMATION: Friendly reminder that Fair Share #3 was due on Monday August 5th, the amount due was $150. If you have any questions regarding fees please get in contact with your GBPA Treasurer, Brulio Cardenas ([email protected]). If you have not already done so friendly reminder that you must complete the marching band registration form and the Marching Band Member Contract. These forms are way past due. If you wish to donate snacks, Gatorade, water, etc please bring donations Monday and Wednesday morning so that the parent volunteers may set-up "snack carts." This goes without saying but parents are more than welcome to pass by locations of rehearsals and check out their child in action! You may also contact the band director at any time during the rehearsal day if you have any questions or concerns. Lastly, times for football games are dependent on weather and pacing of the game. This means that students can be lead out an hour earlier or an hour later. Students will notify parents if we foresee a change in time or if a football game gets postponed.
